Scope
This policy applies to the free local edition of ShotPAI for iPhone. It does not offer ShotPAI accounts, subscriptions, cloud collaboration, advertising or app-operated usage telemetry.
Your videos and projects
Videos you select, audio in those videos, camera recordings, thumbnails, detected shot boundaries, project names, notes and editing progress are processed and stored on your device. The included shot-detection model runs locally. ShotPAI does not send your footage or projects to the publisher for analysis or model training.
The app also keeps local preferences, analysis checkpoints and technical records needed to resume work and troubleshoot failures. These are not automatically uploaded by the app. Project data and media may contain personal information; choose what you import and export carefully.
Permissions you control
Photo and file pickers provide the media you select. Camera and microphone access enable recording; Photos access can save accepted recordings to your library. You can change permissions in iOS Settings. Denying a permission limits the corresponding feature without creating an account requirement.
Network connections and sharing
If you choose to import an authorized direct HTTPS video URL, your device contacts that source and may follow allowed redirects. The destination can receive your IP address, the requested URL, request headers and transfer timing, and may keep logs under its own policy. A URL can itself contain personal information or access tokens. Do not use confidential links unless you intend to make that request. ShotPAI does not route these downloads through a publisher-operated server.
Photos, Files, iCloud or another file provider may fetch originals over the network under your settings. When you export or use the system share sheet, your chosen destination receives the selected content. Those services have their own privacy terms.
Retention and deletion
You can delete a project from the project list. Media still used by another project is retained; files may also be retained if safe cleanup cannot be established. Exported copies, saved Photos items and system or provider backups are managed separately. A JSON project manifest does not include original media files. Back up important material before deletion, and manage device backups and shared copies through the relevant system or service.
Support and this website
If you contact support@shotpai.com, the publisher receives the email address, message and attachments you send to address your request. Do not send passwords, verification codes or private footage. Support email is handled through Zoho Mail. Correspondence is retained in the support mailbox for handling and following up on requests; this policy does not promise automatic deletion on a fixed schedule. You may contact the address above to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to applicable retention obligations.
This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Cloudflare may process IP addresses and technical request information to deliver and secure the website under its privacy policy (https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/). This site has no analytics scripts or advertising trackers added by the publisher.
Apple services
Apple may process App Store, TestFlight and system diagnostic information according to your Apple settings and Apple's terms. The developer may receive information Apple makes available through those services. This is separate from ShotPAI's local video processing. Please review Apple's privacy policy.
Changes and contact
This page will be updated when applicable practices change. For privacy questions or requests about support correspondence, contact support@shotpai.com. The publisher cannot retrieve or delete project files that remain solely on your device.
